With better weather, comedian Drew Lynch is back in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Bearing a bowling shirt and armed with jokes, comedian Drew Lynch joined News 4 Wake Up! on Friday morning.

Known for his appearances on “America’s Got Talent” and “Conan,” Lynch will be performing at Helium Comedy Club this weekend, with five shows between Friday and Sunday.

“I’ve only ever been in Buffalo when there was snow, and people were mad at me,” Lynch said.

While poking fun at Buffalo weather and discussing flats vs. drumsticks, Lynch shared info about his Midwest background and his opinions on the state of stand-up comedy today.

“I just think comedy is like a unifier of things that are just like ‘Okay, I’m different. Let me talk about what makes me different,’ and in that way, I think a lot of people end up relating to it,” he said.

Lynch is scheduled to perform in Buffalo Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 and 10 p.m. both nights. Then, he’ll have a show on Sunday at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here.
